Subsection 144-104-5.05 - DETERMINATION OF PREMIUM AMOUNT

MaineCare Services is responsible for computing the premium for the purchase of coverage under the Health Insurance Purchase Option.The amount of the premium will be determined annually.The premium will be the total of:

A. The MaineCare and Cub Care enrollee per month cost for services, based on the average annual cost for the two fiscal years prior to the year for which MaineCare Services is calculating the premium; and

B. Two percent of the per child per month administrative costs for the MaineCare and Cub Care programs.
