The services described in Chapter II of the MaineCare Benefits Manual are HIPO covered services when provided in accordance with the policies set forth in Chapter II.Any new MaineCare service(s) automatically shall be incorporated as a HIPO covered service on the date the MaineCare policy becomes effective.
Co-payments and deductibles may not be charged for covered services provided under HIPO.
Payment may be made by the Department only for HIPO covered services provided to individuals who are eligible for those services on the date the services are actually provided.
