Section XXV-159 - Containment PadsA. Existing containment pads shall: 1. intercept leaks and spills; and2. have enough surface area to extend under containers on it; and3. accommodate at least the portion of the vehicle where the hose or device couples to it, for transport vehicles delivering pesticide; and4. allow for removal/recovery of spilled, leaked or discharged material and rainfall; and5. have no automatic pumps without overflow cutoffs.B. New containment pads to be designed and constructed shall:1. intercept leaks and spills; and2. have enough surface area to extend under containers on it; and3. accommodate at least the portion of the vehicle where the hose or device couples to it, for transport vehicles delivering pesticide; and4. allow for removal/recovery of spilled, leaked or discharged material and rainfall; and5. have no automatic pumps without overflow cutoffs; and6. have their surface sloped toward an area where liquids can be collected for removal.La.
