Section XV-103 - [Effective 10/29/2024] Who Can Sign the WarrantsA. The fire chief is required to sign the warrants as the approving officer. The certifying officer should be the mayor or some other designated official of the governing authority. The governing authority should notify Public Safety stating who the certifying officer will be. The governing authority should notify Public Safety when there is a change in either of the two authorized signatures.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § XV-103
