Section XIII-105 - Extent of Municipality's ObligationA. In the event that supplemental pay is issued to an individual in error, the Department of Public Safety will make every effort to recover the funds from the individual to whom the check was issued. However, because the municipality would have authorized any such erroneous payment by the warrant, the Department of Public Safety will, in the event that collection procedures from the individual fail, ask the municipality to reimburse the state. Extreme care should be taken in ascertaining each individual's eligibility before signing the warrant.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § XIII-105
