Section XIII-103 - Who Can Sign the WarrantsA. The parish president is required to sign the warrants as the approving officer and the certifying officer should be police jury secretary/treasurer. The parish should submit a letter to the Department of Public Safety stating who will be signing the warrants. The parish should notify the Department of Public Safety when there is a change in either of the two authorized signatures.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § XIII-103
