Section VII-2321 - ContainersA. Containers used for the packaging of butter and butter related products shall be containers or packaging materials from sources approved by the state health officer and satisfactorily protect the safety and quality of the contents in regular channels of trade. Caps or covers which extend over the lip of the container shall be used on all cups or tubs containing two pounds or less to protect the product from contamination.B. Liners, wrappers and other packaging materials shall be from sources approved by the state health officer and protect the products from dust, mold and other contaminants.La. Admin.
