Section I-6937 - Training

A. The agency shall provide at least 40 hours of orientation for all new direct child-care staff prior to job assignment. The orientation shall provide training which relates to the specific job function for which the employee was hired as well as relating to the needs of the children.

B. A minimum of 15 hours of continuing training shall be offered to and required of all staff each year. This training shall be job-related.
