Section LXX-12202 - Parties in InterestA. Any party with a substantial interest in a proceeding before the Commission may participate provided that notice of intervention, protest or support is filed with the Commission within 25 days or such other reasonable period of time directed by the Commission (but not less than 10 business days) following published notice of the filing in the official journal of the state as provided for in Rule 27. 1. All appearances shall be subject to a motion to strike upon a showing that the party has no substantial interest in the matter.2. A decision by the Commission to strike a party is a final decision as to that party and the decision is appealable.3. Unless otherwise provided by law, any public official, agency or department of the State of Louisiana or any of its political subdivisions and every civic or trade organization shall be permitted to appear in any proceeding whether as a formal intervenor or otherwise, and present any relevant and proper testimony and present any evidence bearing upon the issues involved in the particular proceeding.La.
