Section 100-2-3 - President; duties

(a) The president of the board shall:

(1) preside at all meetings of the board;

(2) countersign the minutes of board meetings when approved; and

(3) perform such duties as otherwise authorized or required by law, or specifically assigned by the board.

(b) The president of the board may:

(1) appoint standing committees as directed by the board; and

(2) appoint subcommittees for special purposes.
