Rule 761-400.24 - New vehicle registration fee

The registration fee shall be computed on the month of purchase of a new vehicle, except that the registration fee on a new vehicle acquired outside of this state shall be based on the month that the vehicle was brought into Iowa.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 321.105 and 321.135.
