Rule 761-524.4 - Issuance of motor carrier permit or motor carrier certificate

When all requirements are met, the department shall issue the motor carrier permit or certificate. The motor carrier shall make a copy of the permit or certificate and carry it in each motor vehicle at all times. The copy may be in either a physical or an electronic format as prescribed by the department. The permit or certificate shall be available for display to any peace officer upon request.
