Projects for which grants are approved shall be commenced within six months of the date upon which the grantee is notified that the project is approved, or at another date agreed upon by both parties. Failure to do so may be cause for termination of the project and cancellation of the grant by the commission. Each project will be assigned a project period. Extensions will only be granted in case of extenuating circumstances.
