Projects for which grants have been approved may be amended, if funds are available, to increase or decrease project scope or to increase or decrease project costs and fund assistance. Project changes must be approved by the selection committee and then by the director prior to their inception. Amendments to increase project costs and fund assistance due to cost overruns will not be approved if the work has already been performed.
