Rule 441-114.15 - Religion-culture
(1)Facility orientation. A facility shall have a written description of its religious orientation, particular religious practices that are observed, and any religious restrictions. This description shall be provided to the child, the parent(s) or guardian, and the placing agency at the time of admission.
(2)Child participation. When a facility accepts a child, the child shall have the opportunity to participate in religious activities and services in accordance with the child's own faith or that of the child's parent(s) or guardian. The facility shall, when necessary and reasonable, arrange transportation for religious activities. Wherever feasible, the child shall be permitted to attend religious activities and services in the community.
