Rule 441-114.14 - Personal possessions

(1)Belongings. A facility shall allow a child in care to bring personal belongings and to acquire belongings in accordance with the child's service plan. However, the facility shall, as necessary, limit or supervise the use of these items while the child is in care.

(2)Clothing. A facility shall ensure that each child in care has adequate, clean, well-fitting, attractive, and seasonable clothing as required for health, comfort, and physical well-being. The clothes should be appropriate to age, sex and individual needs.
