Rule 441-99.87 - Misrepresentation of fact

(1) The unit shall not modify the support order based on a substantial change of circumstances if a change in income is due to any material misrepresentation of fact concerning any financial information submitted to the child support recovery unit.

(2) The unit may request verification that all facts concerning financial information are true. Verification may include, but is not limited to, a statement from the employer, a doctor, or other person with knowledge of the situation.
