Sec. 8.
A licensed diabetes educator in the conduct of his or her profession shall follow the tenets of the diabetes self-management training techniques. Diabetes self-management training techniques are an interactive, collaborative, ongoing process involving the individual with diabetes and the licensed diabetes educator that includes:
