Sec. 7.
A licensed diabetes educator in the conduct of the licensed diabetes educator's profession shall abide by, and comply with, the following standards of professional responsibility:
(1) A licensed diabetes educator shall provide individualized services reflecting the uniqueness and autonomy of each individual patient.(2) A licensed diabetes educator shall act in a manner that demonstrates honesty, integrity, and fairness.(3) A licensed diabetes educator shall avoid conflicts of interest that are harmful to the patient.(4) A licensed diabetes educator shall accept responsibility and accountability for personal competence in accordance with this section and section 9 of this rule.Medical Licensing Board of Indiana; 844 IAC 18-1-7; Filed 9/22/2016, 9:48 a.m.: 20161019-IR-844150298FRAReadopted filed 11/22/2022, 12:22 p.m.: 20221221-IR-844220255RFA
