Sec. 242.

(a) Appendix Q is adopted.
(b) Delete the following sentence at the beginning of APPENDIX Q without substitution: The provisions contained in this appendix are not mandatory unless specifically referenced in the adopting ordinance.
(c) Change the text of SECTION AQ104.2.2.1 to read as follows:

Ladders accessing lofts shall have a rung width of not less than 12 inches (305 mm), and 10 inch (254 mm) to 14 inch (356 mm) spacing between rungs. Ladders shall be capable of supporting a 300 pound (136 kg) load on any rung. Rung spacing shall be uniform within d inch (9.5 mm).
