Sec. 24.
The National Electrical Code, 2017, NFPA 70* requirements for Class I, Group D, Division 1 locations govern electrical systems and components used in wet wells or in enclosed or partially-enclosed areas where concentrations of flammable gases or vapors may be present. The components may include equipment such as motors, lights, cables, conduits, switch boxes, and control circuits, and all must comply with the following:
