Sec. 6.
(a) The board may conduct informal hearings to consider the issuance of a new license, the renewal of a license, the denial or suspension of a license, or any other matter pertaining to the validity of an individual license.(b) An informal hearing under this section is not subject to IC 4-21.5 and is not governed by formal rules of evidence.
