The term "person" includes natural persons, partnerships, corporations, associations, municipalities, government entities and subdivisions, and any other entity authorized by law to participate in an administrative proceeding. Persons other than the persons named in Rules 151 through 155 are not parties for the purpose of any statute or rule addressing rights or obligations of parties to a contested case. Persons may request the Attorney General in writing that they be notified when proceedings of a given kind are initiated. These persons are called "Interested Persons." Interested persons may become intervenors or public witnesses. The Attorney General will serve notice of such proceedings on all interested persons. (3-31-22)
