The homeless shelter stipend program assists eligible homeless families and individuals to receive shelter and Services at emergency and transitional shelters by making payments to facility Operators on behalf of the eligible homeless families and individuals. The purpose of the program is to assist facility Operators in paying for costs involved in providing shelter and Services to eligible homeless families and individuals.
