Section 17-680-25 - Gross income eligibility standard(a) The gross income eligibility standard shall be used to determine eligibility for all households except households with an elderly or disabled member or households which are categorically eligible as provided in chapter 17-663.(b) The gross income eligibility standard for the State shall be one hundred thirty per cent of the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) nonfarm income poverty guideline prescribed for Hawaii.(c) The department shall adjust the gross income eligibility standard in accordance with USDA figures without a public hearing.[Eff 3/19/93; comp 11/09/06] (Auth: HRS § 346-14) (Imp: 7 C.F.R. §273.9(a) )
