Section 12-221.1-4 - Boiler blowoff equipment(a) The blowdown from a boiler or boilers that enters a sanitary sewer system or blowdown that is considered a hazard to life or property shall pass through some form of blowoff equipment that will:(1) Prevent water exceeding 150 degrees Fahrenheit from leaving the blowoff equipment; and (2) Prevent the pressure leaving the blowdown of any blowoff equipment to exceed five (5) psig.(b) Blowoff equipment shall conform to the provisions set forth in NB-27 "A Guide to Blowoff Vessels".Haw.
