Section 12-41-40 - Filing of petition

The petition shall be prepared on a form furnished by the board, and the original and four copies thereof shall be signed and filed with the board. If it appears to the board or its designated hearings officer that the petition presents a question concerning the determination of a collective bargaining unit, any member of the board or its hearings officer shall hold a hearing upon notice to all parties. The notice of hearing shall be served upon the petitioner and upon any other interested parties, and shall include a copy of the petition, and shall set the time and place of such hearing.
