Section 11-99-17 - Laundry service(a) Laundry service shall be managed so that daily cleaning and linen needs are met without delay.(b) Provision shall be made for the handling, storage, and transportation of soiled and clean laundry, and for satisfactory cleaning procedures. (1) Provisions may be made for contract service outside the facility in a laundry approved by the department.(2) Infectious laundry shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of § 325-7, HRS, relating to potentially infectious laundry.(3) Clean linen shall be stored in enclosed areas.(4) Hampers shall be provided for soiled linen.[Eff.
