Section 11-62-54.06 - Public notice of public meetings or hearings on individual permits
(a) The director shall notify the public that a meeting or hearing on an individual permit matter has been scheduled. The notice shall be given at least thirty days before the hearing. The director may require the permit applicant to have the notice published.
(b) Methods. The director shall notify [to] the public by at least the methods specified in 4 0 CFR §501.15(d)(5)(ii).
(c) Content. The public notice shall include at least the information required by 40 CFR §501.15(d)(5)(iii).
(d) Costs. All publication and mailing costs associated with notifying the public of a public meeting or hearing shall be paid by the permit applicant(s) to the appropriate publishing agency or agencies determined by the director. Failure to provide and pay for public notice as required by the director is a basis to deny issuance of a permit.
