A decision not to seek services or waivers due to domestic violence shall not bar the applicant or recipient from seeking services or waivers at a later date, or from future referrals to services.
An applicant or recipient is free to decline an offer of a waiver or to voluntarily terminate an existing waiver at any time without penalty. A waiver shall never be implemented against the will of the applicant or recipient.
Granting of a waiver shall not restrict otherwise qualified applicants and recipients from voluntary participation in approved work, job training, educational job readiness, work placement assistance, or community service programs.
An applicant or recipient who is denied a domestic violence good cause waiver of the work requirements and/or child support cooperation has the option of withdrawing his or her application for benefits.
