Rule 29-5821 - CONFIDENTIALITY REGARDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE MATTERS
5821.1

In addition to existing confidentiality requirements, disclosure of any information pertaining to any applicant or recipient who claims he or she is currently experiencing domestic violence, has a history of domestic violence, or is at risk of future domestic violence, whether provided by the victim or by a third party, shall be made solely for the purpose of making referrals or determinations of eligibility for waivers, except where further disclosure is mandated by law.

5821.2

Information that shall be kept confidential, pursuant to subsection 5821.1, includes but is not limited to, information concerning:

(a) The applicant's or recipient's current address;
(b) The location of the applicant's or recipient's workplace;
(c) The location of the children's school or child care;
(d) Any telephone numbers for the applicant or recipient;
(e) Identification as a victim of domestic violence;
(f) Identification of the applicant's or recipient's Service Center; and
(g) Identification of any domestic violence service providers working with the applicant or recipient.
