An employee shall be eligible for health and life insurance benefits when she or he changes from temporary to permanent status. In addition, the employee shall have eligibility for: service awards, annual and sick leave accrual, and retirement.
When an employee changes from permanent part-time to permanent full-time status while in the same position, the probationary period shall begin retroactively to the date she or he was first placed into the position.
