Section 7.510 - Guardians(1) The Interstate Compact procedures shall not apply to a non-agency guardian sending or bringing a child into a receiving state and leaving the child with a non-agency guardian or any of the exempt relatives enumerated in 110 CMR 7.503(3) in the receiving state.(2) The Interstate Compact and the provisions of M.G.L. c. 119, § 36 shall apply whenever a resident of the Commonwealth is appointed guardian of a child by a court of another state for the purpose of securing an adoption in the Commonwealth.
