Section 63.100 - Establishment and membershipThere is hereby established a National Sheep Industry Improvement Center Board. The Board is composed of seven voting members and two non-voting members. Voting members of the Board shall be appointed by the Secretary from nominations submitted in accordance with this part. The Board shall consist of the following:
(a)Voting members.(1) Four members shall be active producers of sheep or goats in the United States;(2) Two members shall have expertise in finance and management; and(3) One member shall have expertise in lamb, wool, goat, or goat product marketing.(b)Non-voting members.(1) One member shall be the Under Secretary of Agriculture for Rural Development, USDA; and(2) One member shall be the Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics, USDA.
