Section 6937.2 - Eligibility of Households(a) To be eligible to receive any form of rental assistance or assisted rental housing unit; (1) In the case of a new tenancy, each adult member of a household must be eligible to receive a public benefit.(2) In the case of a tenancy which is in existence as of the effective date of these regulations, either the head of the household or his or her spouse must be eligible to receive a public benefit, provided that the household does not include any person who is ineligible to receive the public benefit other than the head of household or spouse, the parents or grandparents of the head of household or spouse, or the children of the head of household or spouse.(b) To be eligible to receive any form of home ownership assistance, each person whose name appears on the title for the home or, in the case of cooperatives, the share certificate, must be eligible to receive a public benefit.Cal.
