Section 54141 - Supervision(a) Supervision means the instruction and direction of an employee or subordinate in the performance of assigned duties. Supervision does not necessarily require the immediate presence of the supervisor.(1) Direct supervision means that the supervisor shall be present in the same building as the person being supervised and available for consultation and assistance.(2) Immediate supervision shall mean that the supervisor shall be physically present while the task is being performed.Cal.
