Section 7 AAC 35.330 - Transportation,(a) If the state medical examiner or the deputy medical examiner orders transportation of the remains of the deceased person under AS 12.65.020(a)(4), the department is responsible for transportation of the remains as described in AS 12.65.025. (b) The department will determine the mode of transportation to the applicable location under AS 12.65.025 and back to the community closest to the location of the death. (c) Remains transported directly from the applicable location under AS 12.65.025 following examination will be shipped in a container that is appropriate for human remains and complies with the requirements in 7 AAC 35.100.Eff. 8/20/2020,Register 235, October 2020 Authority:
