Section 6 AAC 400.010 - Election districts established(a) The House election districts of the state are established by the Redisricting Board in the Final Proclamation of Redisricting, issued on May 15, 2023.(b) The boundaries of the House election districts of the state are depicted on maps approved and adopted by the Redisricting Board in the Final Proclamation of Redistricting, issued on May 15, 2023. Each election district is described in narrative form in the board's Description of May 2023 Final Proclamation Plan House and Senate Districts, prepared May 15, 2023. If an inconsistency arises between a map and a narrative description or topographic feature, the division of elections will rely on the narrative description in the board's Description of May 2023 Final Proclamation Plan House and Senate Districts to determine the proper location of the boundary of an election district.Eff. 7/1/2022, Register 244, January 2023; am 7/11/2024, Register 251, October 2024The Redistricting Board's May 15, 2023 Final Proclamation of Redistricting and Description of May 2023 Final Proclamation Plan House and Senate Districts may be reviewed at the office of the director of the division of elections.
