Section 20 AAC 30.517 - Application process
(a) A school or school district applying for an artists in schools grant must
(1) complete the grant application provided by the council in the guidelines and application form adopted by reference in 20 AAC 30.983(7); and
(2) submit the following items, so that each is received or postmarked not later than the deadline established in the applicable guidelines and application form described in (1) of this subsection:
(A) the completed application;
(B) any documentation required by the guidelines and application form.
(b) An artist applying for inclusion in the artists in schools teaching artist roster must
(1) complete the form applicable to the artist and provided by the council in the performing artist application, adopted by reference in 20 AAC 30.983(8), for inclusion of the artist in the artists in schools teaching artist roster; and
(2) submit the following items, so that each is received or postmarked not later than the deadline established in the application described in (1) of this subsection:
(A) the completed application;
(B) any supporting materials required by the application.

Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the Alaska State Council on the Arts readopted 20 AAC 30.517 to affirm the validity of that section after statutory amendments made in ch. 30, SLA 2010. The council also amended the lead-in language of 20 AAC 30.517(b) and (b)(1). Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).

Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the regulations attorney, under AS 44.62.060(b)(6), made technical corrections to 20 AAC 30.517(a) to reflect cross references to coincide with changes made in 20 AAC 30.983.
