Section 9-1-616 - Cooperation with other law enforcement agencies; concurrent jurisdiction(a) The division shall cooperate with federal, state, tribal and local law enforcement agencies and officers for the efficient investigation of criminal activity and swift apprehension of persons suspected of violating the criminal laws of this state.(b) The division shall have concurrent jurisdiction and powers with, and shall not usurp or supersede the jurisdiction and powers of any other law enforcement agencies and officers in this state. However this limitation shall not apply to functions of the division described in W.S. 9-1-618(b).(c) The division, in accordance with the Wyoming Criminal History Record Act, W.S. 7-19-101 through 7-19-109, shall cooperate with similar agencies of other states and the federal government for the purpose of developing and carrying on a complete interstate, national and international system of criminal identification.Amended by Laws 2020 , ch. 19, § 1, eff. 7/1/2020.
