Section 33-39-220 - Statement of fees(a) In reporting to a client, an appraisal management company shall separately state the fees: (i) Paid to an appraiser for the completion of an appraisal service; and(ii) Charged by the appraisal management company for appraisal management services.(b) An appraisal management company shall not: (i) Prohibit an appraiser from recording the fee that the appraiser was paid by the appraisal management company for completing the appraisal service in the body of the report that is submitted by the appraiser to the appraisal management company; or(ii) Include any fees for appraisal management services performed by the appraisal management company in the amount the company reports as charges for the actual completion of an appraisal service by an appraiser.Added by Laws 2013, ch. 180,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2013.
