Section 2-1-208 - Venue generally(a) An application for a decree under W.S. 2-1-205 shall be filed as follows: (i) If the decedent was a resident of Wyoming at the time of his death, in the county of which the decedent was a resident;(ii) If the decedent was not a resident of Wyoming at the time of his death, in a county in which any part of the estate is located.Added by Laws 2015 , ch. 74, § 1, eff. 7/1/2015.
