Section 49-6-109 - Interagency cooperation(a) State agencies and public and private schools shall cooperate with a law-enforcement agency that is investigating any missing child or missing and endangered child report and shall furnish any information, including confidential information, that will assist the law-enforcement agency in completing the investigation.(b) Information provided by a state agency or a public or private school may not be released to any person outside the law-enforcement agency or the clearinghouse, except as provided by rules of the West Virginia State Police.Amended by 2020 Acts, ch. 42 (HB 4415), eff. 6/3/2020.Added by 2015 Acts, ch. 46 (HB 2200), eff. 2/19/2015.
