Section 46-9-804 - Security interest unperfected before effective dateAsecurity interest that is an unperfected security interest immediately before the amendments to this article during the 2012 Regular Legislative Session take effect becomes a perfected security interest:
(1) Without further action, when the amendments to this article during the 2012 Regular Legislative Session take effect if the applicable requirements for perfection under this article as amended during the 2012 Regular Legislative Session are satisfied before or at that time; or(2) When the applicable requirements for perfection are satisfied if the requirements are satisfied after that time.Added by 2012 Acts, ch. 198 (HB 4251), eff. 6/6/2012.
