Section 30-13A-17 - Retired license requirements(a) A licensee who does not want to continue practicing surveying and who has chosen to retire shall notify the board in writing and may be granted retired status.(b) A person granted retired status shall be given the honorific title of "Professional Surveyor, Retired" and cannot practice in this state.
