Section 2494k - [Effective 1/1/2026] Rugs and carpets(a) A manufacturer shall not manufacture, sell, offer for sale, distribute for sale, or distribute for use in this State a residential rug or carpet to which PFAS have been added in any amount.(b) This section shall not apply to the sale or resale of used products.Added by 2024, No. 131,§ 3, eff. 1/1/2026.
