Section 4832 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] Farm Agronomic Practices ProgramThe Farm Agronomic Practices Program is created in the Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets to provide the farms of Vermont with State financial assistance for the implementation, including through education, training, or instruction, of soil-based practices that improve soil quality and nutrient retention, increase crop production, minimize erosion potential, and reduce agricultural waste discharges. The following practices may be eligible for assistance to farms under the Grant Program:
(1) conservation crop rotation;(6) pre-sidedress nitrate tests; and(7) additional soil-based practices that improve soil quality and nutrient retention, increase crop production, minimize erosion potential, and reduce agricultural waste discharges.Amended by 2023 , No. 6, § 67, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by 2022 , No. 162, § 7, eff. 6/1/2022.Added 2007, No. 112 (Adj.
