Section 5922 - [For Repeal, See Note] Appropriate public authorities

[Contingently repealed; effective until contingency met.]

The "appropriate public authorities" as used in Article II of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children shall, with reference to this State, mean the Department for Children and Families, and the Department shall receive and act with reference to notices required by Article III.

Repealed by 2022 , No. 101, § 1, eff. 18 months from the date on which the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children as described in Section 2 of Act 101 of the 2021-2022 Legislative Session is enacted into law by 35 states.
