Section 1-106 - Local ordinances, regulations, and building codes(a) A building code may not impose any requirement upon any structure in a common interest community that it would not impose upon a physically identical development under a different form of ownership.(b) No zoning, building codes, subdivision ordinance, or other real property use law, ordinance, or regulation may prohibit the conversion of any building to the common interest community form of ownership.(c) Except as provided in subsections (a) and (b) of this section, no provision of this title invalidates or modifies any provision of any zoning, subdivision, building code, or other real estate use law, ordinance, or regulation.Added 1997, No. 104 (Adj.
