Section 80-5-207 - Restitution by a minor committed to the division(1)(a) The division shall make reasonable efforts to ensure that restitution is made to the victim of a minor who is committed to the division.(b) Except as provided in Subsection (1)(c), restitution shall be made through the employment of minors in work programs.(c) Reimbursement to the victim of a minor is conditional upon the minor's involvement in the work program.(2) The division shall notify the juvenile court of all restitution paid to victims through the employment of a minor, who is committed to the division, in a work program.Renumbered from § 62A-7-109.5 and amended by Chapter 261, 2021 General Session ,§ 124, eff. 9/1/2021.Amended by Chapter 214, 2020 General Session ,§ 10, eff. 5/12/2020.Amended by Chapter 330, 2017 General Session ,§ 29, eff. 8/1/2017.Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 13, 2005 General Session.
